Royal Caribbean
Odyssey of the Seas sails the Bahamas and longer Caribbean trips in winter. Oasis and Independence of the Seas take over from May to October 2027 for the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Canada and New England. We have sailed six Royal Caribbean ships and toured Odyssey at the Bayonne pier.

Celebrity Silhouette runs 7-night Bermuda roundtrips from May 2 to June 20, 2027, then one Greenland and Iceland voyage. A quieter, more grown-up ship from the same terminal as Royal Caribbean.

Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Bliss sails from New York all winter 2026-27, to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Norwegian Luna takes over on April 6, 2027 with Bermuda voyages. I toured Luna in Miami, and it felt like a genuine multigenerational ship.

Queen Mary 2 crosses between New York and Southampton through the year, and adds Caribbean voyages from New York late in 2027. Europe without a plane, on a regular schedule.

Disney Cruise Line
Disney Wish arrives in New York in late September 2027 for seven 4- to 7-night sailings: five to Bermuda, plus Canada and New England. A short season, so these will go early. The rest of the year, we plan Disney from Florida.
Disney Vacation Specialist
Not sailing from here right now: MSC Cruises moved Meraviglia from Brooklyn to Miami after April 2026 and lists no New York departures, and Holland America only ends the occasional repositioning voyage in New York. We still book both, from the ports they do use.

Which cruise lines sail from New Jersey and New York?
From Cape Liberty in Bayonne, Royal Caribbean sails year-round and Celebrity runs a spring Bermuda season. Norwegian and Carnival sail from Manhattan. Cunard uses Brooklyn, Princess uses Brooklyn or Manhattan, and Disney Wish adds a New York season in fall 2027. Deployments change every year, so we confirm the current schedule when you ask.
Is it better to cruise from Bayonne or from New York City?
It depends on the cruise line more than the drive. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity use Cape Liberty, Norwegian and Carnival use Manhattan, Cunard uses Brooklyn, and Princess uses either New York terminal. From Essex County, Cape Liberty is the only one of the three you can reach without driving into the city. Compare the Manhattan and Brooklyn terminals.
Do Disney or MSC cruises leave from New York?
Disney does, for a short season: Disney Wish arrives in New York in late September 2027 for seven sailings to Bermuda and to Canada and New England. MSC moved Meraviglia from Brooklyn to Miami after April 2026 and lists no New York departures, so we plan MSC from Florida. Disney cruises from New York.
Do you only work with New Jersey travelers?
No. We're based in West Orange and know the local ports well, but planning happens by phone, text and email, so we work with travelers across the United States.
