Flying to meet the ship? Budget for the flight, airport transfers and a hotel if you’re arriving the day before. A lower cruise fare doesn’t always mean a cheaper trip.

A fit for your whole group?
Virgin’s minimum sailing age is 18. That takes care of the age question. Now tell us what you want from the trip: dinners together, nights out, quiet time or a bit of everything.
Traveling with friends doesn’t mean you all need the same cabin. We’ll work through budgets, room arrangements and accessibility needs with you.
Questions before you book.
Does Virgin Voyages sail from New Jersey or New York?
Yes, Virgin offers seasonal departures from New York City. Valiant Lady’s 2026 Bermuda schedule includes September 27–October 2 and October 2–7. That means you may be able to skip the flight. These sail from New York, not Cape Liberty in Bayonne. We’ll check available cabins and your departure terminal before you make travel plans.
Is Virgin Voyages adults-only?
Yes. Everyone must be at least 18 to book and sail. Bringing the kids? We’ll help you find another cruise line that works for the whole family.
Are gratuities included in the fare?
Not on every booking. For US bookings made or changed beginning October 7, 2025, gratuities are extra unless your offer includes them. Earlier bookings may have different terms. We’ll check yours and include any gratuities you still owe in the budget.
What else should I budget for?
Think drinks, shore excursions and getting to the ship. Add flights or a hotel if you need them. Your cabin, meals, basic Wi-Fi and most entertainment are covered, but some dining and experiences cost extra. Tell us what you want to do, and we’ll help you budget for it.
