Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?
Ideally 6–12 months in advance for cruises, weddings, and peak travel dates. Last-minute deals are sometimes available, but options are limited.
Can I hold a quote before booking?
Some suppliers allow 24–72 hour courtesy holds. We’ll confirm availability before payment is required.
Do you charge planning fees?
We do not charge fees for most standard travel bookings. Complex itineraries or group coordination may include a planning fee, which will be disclosed upfront.
Can I pay over time for my trip?
Yes. We offer flexible financing through Uplift. Spread your payments over 3 to 24 months with rates from 0–36% APR, no hidden fees, and no penalties for early repayment. Applying won’t impact your credit score unless you accept the loan offer.
Can I use Uplift after I've already paid a deposit?
Yes. If your remaining balance is between $300–$15,000, you may apply Uplift to the remaining amount.
Can I combine Uplift with travel insurance?
Yes. You can purchase travel insurance separately, and still finance your trip with Uplift.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
Yes. Travel insurance protects your investment and covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and trip interruptions. We’ll help you choose the right plan.
Can I cancel for any reason?
Some plans include Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. This must be purchased within a specific window and typically reimburses up to 75% of non-refundable costs.
What if I get sick before my trip?
Covered reasons under most insurance policies include illness. A doctor’s note is typically required to file a claim.
Do kids need passports?
Yes, for international travel. U.S. cruises may allow birth certificates for minors, but passports are strongly recommended.
What if my passport is expiring soon?
Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Renew in advance to avoid denied boarding.
How do payments work for group trips?
Group leaders can pay as one or have individual participants make payments. We’ll manage the setup and deadlines with the supplier.
Can you help organize excursions or dinners?
Yes. We can add group tours, private transportation, welcome dinners, and more to group bookings.
Do you work with resort wedding planners?
Yes. We collaborate directly with the on-site wedding team to coordinate room blocks, perks, and timelines.
Can we customize our wedding package?
Most resorts offer base packages that can be customized with decor, entertainment, private events, and more.
What’s the average cost of a destination wedding?
Packages range from $1,500 to $15,000 depending on the number of guests, inclusions, and location. Room blocks may include perks that reduce your cost.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
We’ll follow up within 24–48 hours to discuss your trip goals and begin the planning process. Quotes and next steps will be provided promptly.
Will I work with the same advisor throughout?
Yes. You’ll be paired with a dedicated advisor for a consistent and personal experience, from planning through travel.
